We are looking for 4 experienced Fitters to join our team immediately to work on trailers!

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, install, repair, and maintain trailer components (e.g. bodies, frames, axles, brakes, couplings)
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fitting of trailer parts
  • Inspect trailers for defects and ensure repairs meet safety standards
  • Collaborate with mechanics and electricians for full trailer maintenance
  • Use measuring tools, jigs, and equipment for accurate fitting
  • Keep accurate records of work done and parts used

Requirements

  • Malawi Craft Certificate in Fitting/ Welding or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience working on trailers/truck bodies
  • Experience with trailer braking systems, suspensions, and couplings
  • Welding skills (MIG/MMA)
  • Valid Driver’s License (Manual) an added advantage
  • Ability to read technical drawings/schematics
