Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Preparing and submitting monthly PAYE returns to the Malawi Revenue Authority(MRA).
- Managing school fees, bank reconciliations and cash flow.
- Processing payroll.
- Preparing budgets and management reports.
- Maintaining accounting records and enhancing internal controls
- Performing any other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Have knowledge of accounting packages
- Be conversant with Malawi taxation laws
- Posses strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
- Be honest, reliable and of high intergirity.
- Be computer literate ,especially Microsoft excel.
- Experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.
- Should be aged 25 years and above.
