Beit-CURE Children’s Hospital Malawi (BCHM) is a specialized pediatric orthopedic hospital located in Blantyre, Malawi. Established in 2002, it is the country’s first and only dedicated children’s orthopedic hospital, providing free surgical treatment to children with treatable conditions such as clubfoot, bowed legs, and other musculoskeletal disabilities. The hospital operates as part of the CURE International network while maintaining its distinct Malawian identity and local medical staff. BCHM serves thousands of Malawian children annually, combining surgical expertise with spiritual care and patient education. Its work significantly reduces the burden of physical disability among Malawi’s young population, enabling children to attend school and participate fully in their communities.
