Data Protection Agreement (DPA) – For Employers

This Data Protection Agreement applies to employers using Jobs for Malawi for recruitment purposes.

1. Purpose

This agreement governs how employer partners process job seeker personal data obtained from Jobs for Malawi.

2. Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

• Use applicant data strictly for recruitment

• Maintain confidentiality

• Not sell or share applicant data

• Secure applicant information

• Comply with all applicable data protection laws

3. Applicant Rights

Employers must respect applicant rights including:

• Right to privacy

• Right to access

• Right to deletion

• Right to correction

4. Data Breach

Employers must immediately notify Jobs for Malawi of:

• Unauthorized access

• Data leaks

• Security breaches

5. Termination of Access

Jobs for Malawi may immediately revoke employer access for violations.

6. Indemnity

Employers agree to indemnify Jobs for Malawi from all losses arising from misuse of applicant data.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Malawi.
