Roads Authority Malawi is a Statutory Corporation established under Malawian law to oversee the construction, maintenance, and management of the country’s public road network. It operates nationwide, managing both national and regional roads—including key corridors linking Lilongwe, Blantyre, and Mzuzu. The Authority works closely with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and implements road projects funded by the Government of Malawi and international development partners. Its headquarters are in Lilongwe, and it maintains regional offices across Malawi’s administrative divisions to support decentralized road asset management.
