Its core responsibilities include managing the men’s and women’s national teams, known as “The Flames” and “The Scorchers” respectively, and overseeing national league structures. FAM is dedicated to promoting football development from grassroots levels to professional play across Malawi, fostering talent and widespread participation. Through strategic initiatives, the association continuously strives to elevate Malawian football’s presence both domestically and on the international stage.
