Partners In Health/Abwenzi Pa Za Umoyo (PIH/APZU) is a Malawian non-governmental organisation that works alongside the Ministry of Health to deliver high-quality healthcare in Neno District. Since 2007, the organisation has supported hospital and community-based care, focusing on maternal health, HIV, tuberculosis, and non-communicable diseases. PIH/APZU operates Neno District Hospital and a network of health centres, while also training local health workers and strengthening supply chains. Its model pairs direct service delivery with long-term health system reinforcement in one of Malawi’s most remote districts.
