Key Responsibilities
- Board Chairperson
- Lead the Board of Directors and chair board meetings.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the organisation.
- Represent Patsinde at the highest level.
- Promote effective governance and organisational accountability.
- Board Secretary
- Maintain accurate records of board meetings and decisions.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation’s constitution and the NGO Act.
- Support effective board administration and governance.
- Board Member – Governance (Minimum 3 Positions)
- Provide strategic oversight on governance and organisational leadership.
- Guide compliance with NGORA requirements and other regulatory obligations.
- Support effective board decision-making and organisational development.
- Board Member – Fundraising and Partnerships
- Support resource mobilisation initiatives.
- Build and strengthen relationships with donors and development partners.
- Provide strategic guidance on fundraising and partnership development.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- A PhD will be an added advantage.
- At least five (5) years’ relevant professional experience.
- Experience in governance, leadership, fundraising, partnerships, compliance, or related fields depending on the position applied for.
- Sound judgement and integrity.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to commit at least one (1) hour per month.
- No conflicts of interest.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
