Key Responsibilities

  • Board Chairperson
  • Lead the Board of Directors and chair board meetings.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the organisation.
  • Represent Patsinde at the highest level.
  • Promote effective governance and organisational accountability.
  • Board Secretary
  • Maintain accurate records of board meetings and decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with the organisation’s constitution and the NGO Act.
  • Support effective board administration and governance.
  • Board Member – Governance (Minimum 3 Positions)
  • Provide strategic oversight on governance and organisational leadership.
  • Guide compliance with NGORA requirements and other regulatory obligations.
  • Support effective board decision-making and organisational development.
  • Board Member – Fundraising and Partnerships
  • Support resource mobilisation initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with donors and development partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance on fundraising and partnership development.

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • A PhD will be an added advantage.
  • At least five (5) years’ relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in governance, leadership, fundraising, partnerships, compliance, or related fields depending on the position applied for.
  • Sound judgement and integrity.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to commit at least one (1) hour per month.
  • No conflicts of interest.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
