Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, staff records, contracts, and separation processes.
- Coordinate performance management, staff development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Administer payroll inputs, leave, staff benefits, medical aid, and other HR administrative processes.
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with the Malawi Employment Act and organisational standards.
- Provide employee relations support, manage disciplinary and grievance processes, and prepare HR reports for Management and the Board.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years’ progressive HR experience, preferably within an NGO or development organisation.
- Sound knowledge of Malawi labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with an HR Information System (HRIS) is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills with high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
