Key Responsibilities
- Supporting internal communications and acting as a liaison between management and staff;
- Drafting Press releases, managing media enquiries and building relationships with journalists and media houses;
- Managing all Corporation’s social media accounts and website content;
- Producing articles, marketing materials, brochures and annual reports;
- Ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms of the Corporation;
- Planning and Coordinating Public Relations events and awareness campaigns;
- Tracking media coverage and analyzing engagement metrics;
- Preparing Communication reports;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field;
- A Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in Media, Public Relations or Communications;
- Excellent oral and written language skills of English or Chichewa. Those with knowledge of other local languages shall have added advantage;
- Practical knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Suite, Canva and Social media management tools;
- Excellent Presentation Skills;
- Excellent Photography, Videography and basic video editing skills;
- Creative, proactive and ability to work under very tight deadlines.
