JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Officer will provide day-to-day coordination, implementation follow-up and operational support for the CARE PACKAGE(R) for Emergencies (CP4E) across participating countries. The role will work with country offices, member partners and internal teams to track workplans, sourcing and delivery milestones, consolidate project data, support monitoring and reporting, maintain project documentation and follow up agreed actions. The position will facilitate communication with English- and French-speaking teams and help ensure timely, consistent and well-documented implementation in line with established CP4E standards and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured day-to-day coordination and follow-up with participating country offices so that agreed CP4E activities progress on time and issues are escalated promptly.
- Maintain regular contact with designated CP4E focal points in participating country offices and follow up on agreed actions, timelines, and deliverables.

- Maintain an issues and risk log and flag emerging implementation risks in a timely manner.
- Support timely implementation by tracking operational dependencies and coordinating follow-up with the responsible country office and functional teams.
- Follow up sourcing, production, assembly, dispatch, warehousing and distribution milestones against agreed schedules, based on information provided by responsible teams.
- Maintain sourcing and delivery status trackers and identify overdue actions or dependencies requiring follow-up.
- Coordinate routine information exchange between country offices and relevant procurement, supply chain, finance and logistics colleagues.
- Coordinate with and support country supply chain with procurement planning, collecting and organizing quotations, purchase documentation, delivery records, inventory information and other project files where required, without assuming procurement authority.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, project management, business administration, humanitarian studies, supply chain, public administration, social sciences or another relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in project coordination, program support, humanitarian or development operations, grants/project administration, or a related role.
- Professional fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly and prepare working documents in both languages.
- Experience coordinating with multiple country offices, field teams, partners or geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Strong ability to maintain implementation plans, trackers, action logs, digital filing systems and routine project reporting.
