Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities for our farm products.
- Actively sell and market our products including raw milk, tomatoes, cabbages, chickens, cows and sheeps.
- Use your links and networks to attract buyers, suppliers, institutions, retailers and other partners.
- Negotiate deals, prepare quotations and close sales profitably.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and follow up on customer satisfaction.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
- Provide market feedback, customer insights and competitor information.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customers and orders.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Agriculture or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in agriculture, FMCG or related industry.
- Strong links and network in the market (buyers, suppliers, institutions, retailers, etc.).
- Ability to sell and market raw milk, horticulture products (tomatoes, cabbages), chickens, cows and sheeps.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently.
- Must be based in Lilongwe.
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence.
- Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
