Key Responsibilities
- Drives the vehicle on different assignments with instruction from the Superiors.
- Makes daily checks to ensure that oil and water levels are at required levels prior to engine start.
- Ensures the company vehicle is clean, roadworthy and well maintained at all times.
- Ensures vehicle licenses, insurance, and service schedules are up to date.
- Reports all faults of the car to the superiors and prepares workshop defect slip prior to taking the vehicle for repairs to the workshop.
- Maintains an up to date log book by recording mileage and fuel details.
- Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)
Requirements
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- Valid Class C1 Driving Licence (holders of Category PG will have an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
